The county of Haßberge (surface area: 956.36 km², inhabitants: 87,607) offers a high quality of life and is also an attractive business location, combining tradition and progress. It is located in the heart of Germany, in the “center of Europe”. The county’s two nature parks Haßberge and Steigerwald with their lush forests and valleys are ideal for hiking, sport and recreation. The Upper Main Valley, a scenic winegrowing area with numerous inns and seasonal wine rooms (Heckenwirtschaft) attracts visitors from the entire region.

The three junctions of the Maintal-Autobahn (A 70 - E 48) offer ideal connections to the European road network. The town of Zeil is home to a large port of transshipment at the Main River (one of the main European waterways).
