Active Vacations in the Hass Mountain Nature Park

The Nature Park Hass Mountain offers attractive trails for those, who prefer to go hiking without heavy packs. Hikers can choose between a 7-day tour and a 3-day tour. Upon reaching the goal every hiker is rewarded with a bronze, silver or golden hiking pin. Everyone can choose for him/herself where to start the trip. At the tourist information leaflets with tour recommendations are available for free. You can also go cycling or play golf during your vacations in the Nature Park Hassberge Mountains.

Hiking

Discover the area on numerous hiking trails with different themes, for example the wine trail, the castle trail or the Celtic trail.

Cycling

 

26 different tours take you from Grabfeld to the River Main, from Schweinfurt to the town of Bamberg or around the cities and towns of Bad Königshofen, Baunach, Ebern and Königsberg. There are some long-distance trails like the Main Valley Cycling Trail and the Rhoen-Grabfeld-Hass Mountains-Main Valley Cycling Trail.

Golf

Located within the beautiful landscape of the Hass Mountains Nature Park, the 18-hole golf course of the Hassberge golf club in Ebelsbach offers great views of the Main Valley. The golf course is considered to be one of the most attractive courses in Northern Bavaria.

Boat trips

Between Bamberg and Gemuenden the Main River is very calm and features many locks and little lakes – ideal conditions for a boat trip. Boats are available for hire.
