The holiday resort Kahltal, together with its hamlets Bamberger Mühle - Kahlquelle and Glashüttenhof is embedded in the idyllic landscape of the Nature Park Spessart, Germany’s largest contiguous deciduous forest. Not far from the village there are the highly-frequented and romantically located kneipp facilities. Visit the nature adventure pool in the neighbouring village Schoellkrippen.

You can choose from a variety of modern guest rooms in guest houses, pensions and private houses. Kids are welcome in the child-friendly holiday homes. Enjoy the bourgeois cuisine at local inns, restaurants and cafes. There are numerous lovely BBQs held every year by the local clubs, but the highlights of the festival season are the traditional “Handkäsfest” at Pentecost and the “Strohballenfest”.

Kleinkahl is the ideal starting point for interesting excursions to the historic towns of Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg, Bad Orb, Gelnhausen, Büdingen and Lohr am Main, home of Snow White. You can reach Kleinkahl via the A3, exit Aschaffenburg-Hoesbach, A45 exit Alzenau, A66 exit Gelnhausen West or by train to Schoellkrippen, then travelling on by bus or collection at the station.
