The area features a well-kept, wide network of hiking trails, including flat promenades and moderate to steep mountain trails (a stretch of 65 km/40 miles is cleared of snow in winter). From Wallberg Mountain you’ll have a great view of Lake Tegernsee. 360° panorama maps are available at the mountain station. |

In Tegernsee Valley you can embark on easy going, family friendly tours as well as demanding tours for the most active. You can find some recommendations in the “Radwanderkarte Tegernseer Tal” (Tegernsee Valley cycle touring map). All trails are well-signposted and the local tourist information boards are happy to assist you and organize guided cycling or mountain biking tours. |

On the foothills of the Alps in Tegernsee Valley and at Lake Schliersee there are countless things to do. Go on one of the numerous tours across the mountains or from one lake to the other. We (and many others) consider this area one of the best biking regions in Bavaria. |

Two 18-hole golf courses, one 6-hole course for beginners and a driving range with golf instructors are available in this area. You can improve your handicap on the courses around Lake Tegernsee and afterwards relax in the health resort Bad Wiessee. |

Water is the dominating element in the Tegernsee Valley. Most sports and leisure activities are connected to it. This area offers ideal conditions for sailing and surfing. |
