The county of Lichtenfels is home to the Obermain Therme. The spa with 800,000 visitors per year is the health and spa center of the county. It is constantly improving its offers to make “wellness” even more attractive.

The county has the warmest and strongest thermal brine in Bavaria, a fact from which not only health and rehabilitation clinics or local landlords and gastronomers benefit.

For health-conscious visitors the Upper Main Valley offers a broad range of cycling, hiking and Nordic walking trails, on which large events are held all year round.
