Roman Museum Kastell Boiotro (Römer Museum)

The foundations of the Roman fort "Kastell Boiotro" were discovered during construction works in 1974. Since 1982 these excavations of the Roman fort dating back to the years 250 to 400 AD have been open to the public. In the same place, about 460 AD St. Severin built his monk’s cell.
