Cycling, hiking, sports and leisure

More than 50 different cycle tours are said to go through this area. Ten of them are described in the leaflet "Radeln nach Herzenslust". What about the "Römer-Tour" (Roman Tour) or "Auf den Spuren des Blauen Reiters" (Tracing the steps of the Blaue Reiter artist's group)? Or maybe the "Biergartentour" (beer garden tour)? Or you could cycle along one of the long distance trails, the „Romantische Straße” (Romantic road) or the “Via Claudia”.

Roughly 50 km - pushing the pedals with full power on the „König-Ludwig-Weg“ (King Ludwig trail) from Peiting to Diessen. It is a bit demanding but quite sociable. Many people cycle along this route road.

Hiking/Walking is an alternative, for example part of the “Lech-Höhenweg”. The view is  amazing and it’s quite flat – a relaxing day.

Swimming is an other fun activity, especially in a lovely lake like the Moorsee, near Wessobrunn. And afterwards it’s time for more action. There is so much to do. What about gliding? Or mountaineering? Surfing, sailing or rowing? Or maybe you would like to work on your handicap on the 9-hole golf course in Bernbeuren.
