The people here seem so content, so well-balanced. And, no matter how foolish it may seem: Even the animals look happy...

In Pfaffenwinkel, they say, virtually everybody has a beautiful home. People deck out their houses and there are even artistic pigeon dreys, for, as long as they are cooing, human love is said to stay in the house as well...

It seems typical for this region: Sundials everywhere. 1,847 hours of sun each year, according to the weather station on Hoher Peißenberg; 55 days a year. Brilliant weather like this is due a typical regional weather condition called foehn wind. It is a dry down slope wind from Upper Italy which grants a crystal-clear view.
