SeaLife Munich is to be found at the Olympic Park area in Munich. The aquarium measures 2,200 qm² and cost about 10.5 Million Euros. The ninth SeaLife Aquarium in Germany opened its doors to visitors on April 7th, 2006.
At SeaLife Munich visitors can follow a drop of water from the River Isar to the River Danube to the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. On two storeys visitors are taken into the German and Mediterranean underwater world and can get an insight into different eco-systems. Another “jaw-dropping” experience in the SeaLife Munich is the 400,000-liter Mediterranean tank, with a 10-meter underwater tunnel.
