Only 20 kilometers from Munich, the vacation paradise of Starnberg’s Five-Lake-District is set in front of the majestic scenery of the Bavarian Alps, embedded in the softly rolling Moraine country of the Alpine foothills.
A lot of effort s put into the preservation and upkeep of this naturally and culturally unique land. There are nine nature reserves, more than two thirds of the county’s area is put under landscape protection, and the excellent water quality does its share to ensure a “clean” stay.
