Located in the Bavarian Rhön Mountains, not far from the state spa Bad Brueckenau (10 km), Schweinfurt (50 km) and Würzburg (70 km), rural idyll and modern urban flair complement each other. The rural market community of Zeitlofs with its districts is located at the foothills of the Rhoen Mountains, one of the most distinctive volcanic mountains in Central Europe.

Lovers of nature will find interesting places to go on the numerous walking and hiking trails that lead through the valleys and meadows with clear brooks or through the wooded, undisturbed high plateaus. Hiking tours led by professional guides providing information on local herbs or birds voices are very popular. At the clear waters of the river Sinn with its greylings, trouts and eels guests can go fishing and enjoy the natural surroundings.
